Heat treatment process
Glass tempering involves cutting and feeding the material into a special horizontal furnace. Next, the blanks are heated to a set temperature, after which they are cooled. Cooling of glass sheets occurs evenly due to the use of a blower system that supplies cold air under pressure. Simultaneous cooling of the entire surface of the material contributes to the formation of the required stress distribution. Sheets of tempered glass have high strength, exceeding the parameters of the feedstock by 6-10 times.
