Swing ( pendulum ) doors are one of the varieties of swing door designs. They differ from traditional ones in their ability to open in any direction. Thanks to special canopies and hinges, the sash moves freely 180 degrees.
A swing door can have one or two leaves. For openings less than a meter wide, a single leaf is suitable. Such doors are installed mainly as interior doors. A door closer and a return mechanism are mounted on door leaves with any number of leaves. The dimensions of the sashes are determined by the width of the opening; the system can be supplemented with an upper transom or fixed panels on the sides.
