Features and technology of tempered glass production
To obtain tempered glass in production, heating technology is used, followed by a sharp cooling of the sheet material. Glass is processed in special furnaces, for uniform heating to the set temperature, the workpieces placed in the heating chamber are constantly moving. After heating, the material is sent to the cooling chamber.
Tempered glass does not provide for the possibility of mechanical processing, any manipulations (drilling, cutting, edge processing) is carried out with sheets before they are hardened. The following types of processing are available for it:
applying full-color images to the surface by photo printing;
triplex production;
UV bonding;
painting, pasting with a film;
decorative matting.
