Types of entrance doors: glass
Solid glass doors are more often used in public buildings: supermarkets, airports, shopping and entertainment centers. For private houses, combinations of a glass insert in a frame made of plastic, metal, and aluminum are more often used.
For entrance doors use special glass:
Triplex – glass from many layers with a plastic film between them. When hit with a sledgehammer, small cracks or a hole may remain on the glass, but in no case does it break into large pieces.
Tempered – thick glass with a special heat treatment. As a result, the glass becomes very strong, and if it breaks, but into many small pieces that cannot seriously injure a person.
Reinforced glass – inside a special metal mesh. It prevents the glass from breaking into pieces.
Aluminum doors to the apartment
For manufacturing, there is a special hardened aluminum alloy from which aircraft, ships are built, used as elements of oil platforms. It’s called aviation.
