Step 1. Choose the type of glass unit by the number of cameras
The first step in choosing a double-glazed window is the determination of its intimacy by the client. A glass unit chamber is an air area located between two panes. It thanks to the appearance of this camera that insulated glass windows can enter the market. There are several types of double-glazed windows for chambers: single-chamber, two-chambered, three-chambered, etc.
The most chambers in the insulated glass, the warmer the window. For example, a three-chamber double-glazed window works for regions with very low air temperatures.
Single-chamber double-glazed window
A modern, lightweight type of double-glazed window, in which there is one air chamber located between two glasses of different thicknesses. The cheapest option among the rest of the double-glazed windows. However, the use of this type of glass unit is not possible everywhere. We recommend windows with a single-chamber double-glazed unit for installation in the middle lane, where the air temperature in winter does not drop below 5 degrees Celsius.
For cold regions, such a double-glazed window works only for rooms where maintaining room temperature in winter is not required. Although, if you require lightweight window structures in order to avoid the load-bearing walls, we recommend a single-chamber double-glazed window.
Double-glazed window
Double-glazed window
A type of double-glazed window, in which there are two air chambers, alternately connected to each other by glasses. For our region we consider double glazing, as it has higher frost resistance, keeping more heat in the room. It is more expensive than a single-chamber double-glazed unit, but not significantly, although it is superior in useful qualities.
A two-chamber double-glazed window also differs from a single-chamber one in that it has a wider application functionality. By purchasing such a glass unit, you will be more likely to meet your expectations. This is achieved precisely due to the appearance of an additional air chamber. The glass between the two chambers is adjustable depending on the client’s needs.
