GLASS DOES NOT ALWAYS LEAK IN CONDENSATION

If you suffer from condensation on your windows, it is possible that your window is leaking. But this is not always the case. If the condensation can only be seen on the outside or inside of the window, there is no need to panic and your window does not need to be replaced. Only if there is condensation between the two layers of glass is your double glass leak

Condensation on the inside of the glazing

Condensation on the inside of your glazing is caused by heat that condenses from the inside on the (cold) window. This condensation often occurs with single glass, because this is a type of glass that insulates less well. This form of condensation can be prevented by properly ventilating your home or by having the single glass replaced by double glass or insulating glass.

Condensation on the outside of the glazing

You do not have to worry about condensation on the outside of the glazing. Moisture or condensation on the outside of a window is mainly caused by HR glazing (insulating glass). This form of condensation is just a sign of good insulation of your home.
